Materials:

Wood: Krethaus only works with FSC® Certified Natural Alder Wood. All our woods are sustainably harvested from forests local to our factory. FSC® label ensures that the trees that are harvested are related or allowed to regenerate naturally. Finishes: Krethaus works with a GreenGuard Certified, water-based, furniture grade lacquer that is non-toxic, low VOC and 100% HAPs fee (Hazardous Air Pollutants).

Glues: Following our commitment, Krethaus only uses water-based, solvent-free and non-toxic glues ensuring the best results in each piece, also taking care of the environment.

Tyvek®: As part of the continuous improving, we developed a new Tyvek® based fabric for our crib’s nest. Tyvek® is a DuPont® “Class 1 Product” (articles for babies and toddlers) whose technology allows us to create an innovative, conscious and secure fabric for our gorgeous nests, taking care about the planet and our beloved little ones.
